Instructors

My name is Cheryl Rosborough and I am the director of the Aviemore School of Highland Dance. The majority of my dance training was in the lower mainland under the tutelage of Lorraine Graf. As a competitive Highland dancer, I traveled throughout Canada, North America and Scotland. My highest achievements included 6th overall in the World Championships, Champion of the CNE Championship and San Diego Championship, second runner up in the Calgary, Montreal, Antigonish and Winnipeg Inter-Provincial championships. I am a full member of the Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance as well as a fully qualified adjudicator of the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dance.

Colleen has completed her first year at UBC Okanagan University and is now attending Okanagan College. She will be teaching a variety of classes this year as she has done in previous years. Colleen is an accomplished Premier dancer and has been competing at an international level since the age of 10. She has also completed all her theory grade levels and we are passed her Associate Teachers exam with Honours.
